Dr. Bud, M.D., an Associate Professor of Clinical Psychiatry (among other distinctions), has practiced psychiatry for 50 years, treating adolescents and adults.  For over a decade he also wrote a syndicated column about parent-child relationships, appearing in major newspapers.

During my years as a high school counselor we shared a common goal: helping some of my teenage counselees who were his patients.  I was always–and continue to be– impressed with his depth of knowledge, understanding, and professional expertise.

We are fortunate that Dr. Bud is taking time from his busy schedule to serve as a professional advisor on this blog.
